An idyllic trail run becomes a waking nightmare for a single mother
when she stumbles upon a brutal murder and must run for her life
from the two killers bent on silencing their only witness.

RUNNER (2017) - 28 MINUTES

This 30-minute survival thriller “mini-feature” was conceived and completed on Cape Cod with all local crew. RUNNER premiered at The Chatham Orpheum Theater in January of 2017 to a sold out crowd. It has since screened at The Cotuit Center for the Arts
and Hampton Arts Theater in Westhampton Beach, NY as a benefit for St Jude’s Children’s Hospital. It had the distinction of playing an encore engagement at the Chatham Orpheum as a “double-bill” with JAWS. Now available on AMAZON video

Shot in late September through early November, the crew battled weather and steadily dropping temperatures to complete filming, often grabbing whatever shots they could in between bouts of rain.
As Margot, Jade bore the brunt of the arduous shoot, running around in near freezing temps in summer running gear, usually covered in blood, sweat and tears—most of which was real.
